There are two things that I love about Ravenna. The first thing is the pizza. It's the closest to New York style pizza that you can get in Dallas. It's not expensive--similar price to the rest of pizza around here. The second thing that I love about Rivera is that the service is 5 star. This is a restaurant that has high caliber waitstaff. They have a really generous happy hour special for a pizza and a bottle of wine for I think $25. I'm not exactly sure if my memory serves me right here but you should call and inquire. They are located in downtown Dallas across the street from Commissary. Close by to AT&T and the Adolphus hotel and the Westin Hotel.

Lighting is too dim for my liking. It seemed like everything was running low by the time we came to eat around 9. There were only 3 steaks left, 2 of their specialty drinks. Otherwise the lobster ravioli was great! The house sauce is very tasty. The tiramisu was excellent. They were able to accommodate our party of 9.

Ordered the caprese sandwich. The flavors were good but the grilled chicken was overcooked and quite tough.

I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it's considerably mediocre compared to other locations I've been too (as well incredibly cheaper). I was not dressed as nicely as the other customers and considering I was the only non-white individual there that MIGHT'VE played a part in it, but I noticed I was treated considerably different compared to other customers /: The other guest were greeted with smiles and introductions (the waiters name) and we're informed about the specials, while I was greeted as if he was annoyed with my presence and he did not introduce himself. He did not inform me on any of the specials whatsoever as well and much more minor things.

Excellent place to go for a night out with friends. The bartender staff was so friendly and open to making meal suggestions. We ended up starting out with an appetizer of calamari on this evening. When we got our appetizer it was so good and crispy, After the appetizer passed our initial test, we the ordered a pepperoni pizza. It wasn't on the menu but they will make it if you as them. When we got our pie it was perfection, Baked to order and not overdone. Just the right amount of toppings matched up with a perfectly poured cocktail. This was my first time visiting this location since I live downtown and it will not be my last. Thank you for the great service and amazing food options.
